The name game

Instead of names like Molly or Sally, Anna Grace gives her stuffed animals names like Russia (pictured left). Admittedly, it's one of my favorite parts about a new baby or animal. We recently had a money lesson- counting up what she had saved in her piggy bank, we talked about giving some and spending some and so during our next trip out, she picked out a new baby doll. And much to my delight and amusement, she named her Diamond. I can't wait to see what she'll come up with next...

Update: As I was putting her down for a nap today, the new name for an old bear was "Mysteria." Not necessarily a word, but creative nonetheless.

Another update: We're in Kansas City with the Harrigans and saw a deer shoot across the front yard. The kids ran to the window, Benjamin was sent out to shoo it away, and Anna Grace named it "Vanessa." Of course.

That's funny. Madeline caught a rollie pollie the other day and named it "Hospital". I love how our little girls think outside of the box:)

Glad to see that all the animals and babies made it back from their extended stay at Casa de las Colinas.

Haley won't look at another stuffed animal or doll. Her Dora that AG gave her is her pride and joy! A BIG thank you for that little gift!

I remember Anna Grace named her elephant "Raspberry" - so cute.

Who were the Chineese twins again? Hu and Vu or something like that.
