The upside of a funeral?
Family togetherness.
My siblings assembled this afternoon for a little Rockband before the service. Nothing like a rousing rendition of "Eye of the Tiger" before celebrating your granpa's life.
One day.
One day, we'll all reunite with PawPaw and Granpa and Dadoo and everybody else and we'll all rock out together.

That's the beautiful thing about funerals, the fantastic opportunity to be with the ones you love, the ones who knew you when. Beauty-full and love-ly here on earth. Our limited human imagination can't even fathom how awesome it will be when we are all united again. Hooray for celebrating!
