fayettechill

So we're in Fayetteville with our friends the Harrigans and I go running and y'all... Northwest Arkansas running isn't Shreveport running.  It is hill training.  So on my last uphill, I was running out of steam, but I just felt like I should close my eyes and focus on the unseen.  I shouldn't look at the hill, but only my feet, the next step, or close my eyes all together.  The hill was still there and I knew it, felt it, but just taking the next step and fixing my eyes made all the difference.

And wouldn't you know it... I made it up that hill without stopping.

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith." Hebrews 12:1-2a

and more of our fun day with our dear friends:
