Zion

R E I G N S

God's timing.

Yesterday I woke up early and went outside only to be floored by the beauty of Zion National Park.  We had gotten in well after dark the night before and then I wake up to such beauty it gave me chills.  And then my daily Lenten photo challenge's verse for the day...

Psalm 146 which ends like this:

"The Lord reigns forever, your God, O Zion for all generations.  Praise the Lord."

I didn't realize it when I snapped the photo, but there it was when I went to process the pictures.  Matthew 19:26 on this dad's arm.  All things are possible with God, it says.  Trust your Good Father.

For ten different reasons, I fell down on my Lenten photo challenge, a discipline that centers me.  But I'm getting back up, getting caught up.  Because...

"The Gospel isn't a one time message for the unbeliever, but the constant miracle for the imperfect."  Ann Dahlhauser

I hope she forgives me for yanking all her thoughts and putting them here but I love her and miss her and I love how we are meditating on the same word every day this season. Here's to next week!  Follow along with us!  www.picturelent.com
